Faith Baptist Church joins in Texas Hope

Wayne Shuffield just sent me a note that Faith Baptist Church in Wichita Falls also participated in Texas Hope 2010 Commitment Day. There, more than 400 people committed to praying for others, caring for them and sharing the hope of Christ. The congregation is concentrating it’s efforts on the 7,200 people who live within a mile radius from the church.

Wayne shared the church is going to use the BGCT’s 30-day prayer guide as well as increase some community ministry initiatives and evangelism efforts.

This is outstanding. Another example of a congregation seeking to impact its community with the gospel of Christ.

. . . And FaithBC-WF did this without the benefit of a full-time senior pastor at this time, though it’s an evangelistic congregation and has a terrific staff leading in evangelism ministry in the city.

I am sorry, did the members win someone to the Lord everyday? I hear that this is what Shuffield claims he does. Even had it announced when he came to Palo Pinto.
