Still looking for a way to help people affected by Ike?

by

Here are a couple of options for those of you still looking for a way to help those affected by Ike. Golden Triangle Baptist Association is running www.relief4ike.org, a site that connects users to needs and opportunities. People can also find information about giving in-kind donations.

Yesterday I spoke with Carolyn Porterfield who indicated the BGCT still is looking for about 50 churches to partner with churches affected by Ike. Partnerships may last a couple months to more than a year. If your church would be interested in that, visit www.bgct.org/disaster. There’s a form there for church-2-church partnerships. BGCT staff members are matching churches based on resources and needs.
