The Hurricane Ike posts have drawn some new visitors to this blog so I want to drop a quick note here to let some folks know what’s going to appear in this space in the next few days. Essentially, this space is going to be extremely diverse starting tonight.
I’ll continue giving as many updates from Southeast Texas as possible. The BGCT has staff working its way through the area and I’m speaking with them on a regular basis.
Kaitlin Chapman, who worked with the BGCT this summer, is going to post some things from the Focus conference for college students in the Lubbock area. The conference starts tonight.
On top of that, several people will be posting about Rio de Esperanza, a week-long ministry emphasis along the Texas-Mexico border that is helping to kick off Texas Hope 2010.
Texas Baptists are active across the state in a variety of ways. We hope the posts in the coming days will reflect the diversity of vitality of Texas Baptist ministry.
