Texas Baptist churches filling with evacuees

According to this site, Texas Baptist churches are taking in significant numbers of Ike evacuees. They are stepping up to help those in need. Please keep praying for all people affected by the storm — evacuees and volunteers alike.

Do you happen to know where the TX Baptist disaster relief units are operating, and if they are in need of anything?

Lee, I noticed your comment after posting an update. The update may help.

Essentially, they are in or going to Marshall, Bryan, League City, Beaumont, Orange and San Antonio. At this moment, the only need I can think of is trained volunteers. TBM tries to rotate people in and out to keep teams fresh so trained volunteers are always needed. TBM’s primary office number is 214-381-2100.

I’ll try to remember to ask them about needs in the morning and post what I discover.
