What time approximately do you want parents at Crowley Dorm?

  2. RexC Says:

Lufthansa Flight 438 from Frankfurt is scheduled to arrive DFW at 2:20 P.M. The students will claim their luggage, clear customs and board buses for DBU as quickly as possible however will probably not arrive at DBU much before 4:00 P.M.

Rex, Thanks for the quick reply! Also, THANKS so very much for all the pics, videos, and updates. It has eased my mind so much…well, until the bomb update, that is…ha ha! No, you did a good job of telling us of the situation but calmed the parents at home by letting us know that our kids were safe. I looked at the news article you linked to the update. Wow, I believe that is St. Nikolaikirche in the background of the news article…so yes, the bomb was found very close to the TBAS concert venue. We will all be happy to see our kiddos tomorrow. Praying for safe travels for you all. Thanks again for EVERYTHING!

I would like to add my congratulations to Rex, Tim and the other leaders for the wonderful way they have used modern electronics to keep all of us at home informed of the progress and exploits of the kids.

About the only thing I could add is that perhaps the leaders here at home ought to alert a local news service to cover the arrival of the group. From what I have read the kids were not only ambassadors for Christ, they were good will ambassadors for America that we could and should be proud of.

If the local news services were given some of the pictures, video and comments, there would be plently of material for a nice story that could even make the national news. I’m thinking particularly about the comments from the festival people about how easy it was to work with the kids, comments from the resturant people about how polite they were and the fact that on at least 2 occasions the audience at their performnces demanded several encores.

I am of course speaking as a proud grand father, but I think the group did something that all Baptists and perhaps all Americans can be proud of and we need to figure a way, beyond individuals telling them, to honor them for all their hard work.
