Potsdam concert is the bomb-updated

It’s not a joke and it’s not funny and no one with this group has been in any danger however an piece of unexploded WWII ordinance was found today near the venue for tonight’s concert. The city of Potsdam is virtually shutdown as this common occurrence here is dealt with for several more hours.

As a result the concert in Postdam has been canceled and our last night in Germany will be spent visiting some additional cultural sites (including a mall) and serious packing to bring all this stuff back without the luggage being overweight.

Again, everyone is fine as we learned of this before we left Berlin. Thank you again for your prayer for this group and we will see most of you Tuesday.

Wow!! I guess everyone will have a story to tell. We are glad all of you are alright. I have passed this on to many others that are on my e-mail list. Have a great time touring around. We have been praying for you.

    Love to all,

God Is Good! Thank you to all who worked with our kids and worked through things with our kids. Looking forward to hearing all about it!

How scary!!!! I’m so glad they found it before you left Berlin so you could make other plans. I guess we just don’t think about the delayed consequences of war. I have been keeping up with you as I receive the YouTube videos and other pictures. You all are going to have so many stories and experiences to share all your lives. How wonderful that you get to actually visit these historical places and share the love of Jesus at the same time. It just doesn’t get any better than that!!!

God is very good. We all needed the rest that night – our voices had been under a lot of stran on that trip. So we were able to finish all our souvenier shopping and see more of Berlin. Yay!
