Weekend wrap

Catching up, a couple things of note took place on Friday:

  • Texas WMU dismissed Nina Pinkston as interim executive director. The Standard has the story here.
  • ETBU President Bob Riley announced his retirement date. See that story on the BGCT site here.

On Sunday, TBM sent a strike team to Bangkok, Thailand where it will stage until the volunteers can get into Myanmar and serve in wake of a terrible cyclone that hit there. Check out that story on the BGCT site as well.
