Venezuelan Baptists recently wrapped up a revival in the Caracas area. A number of Texas Baptists helped them with the outreach, which produced massive results. Baptists went door to door, held evangelistic services, passed out tracts and several other methods of evangelism.
Truly God was working in their efforts. More than 3,900 people prayed to receive Christ as Lord. Another 322 rededicated their lives to Him. Continuous reports from several people throughout the week can be seen at the Venezuela Vision blog at venezuelavision.blogspot.com.
Caracas serves as a gateway to the rest of Venezuela and South America. People come to the massive, sprawling city to do business and handle government affairs. The impact of the revival could be felt thousands of miles from Caracas as people return to their homes.
