Heather Hershap is set to graduate with her master’s degree from Truett Seminary this weekend. Then she’ll go fulfill God’s mission for her life.
Hershap, who has cerebral palsy, feels called to help people with physical challenges in India. She worked for more than a year just to go on her first trip. Now after her graduation, she’s going to serve as a national representative with Joni and Friends, which includes ministering to the physically challenged in India. And it’s happening in part, thanks to WorldconneX connecting Heather with people to support her from Seventh and James Baptist Church in Waco, Chalk Bluff Baptist Church in Waco and First Baptist Church in Midland.
This is how she described her jouney to this point:
“I’m just doing what God’s calling to me to do. I know that on a daily basis we all do that somewhat imperfectly, but I’m doing the best I can.”
