I certainly hope that Otto Arango is not the source of the statistics for Venezuela’s church growth. However, there is every indication that he is. When will we learn.

  2. Rex Campbell Says:

I was there with John and yes, I am BGCT staff.
The sources of the statistics are Alexander Montero and the pastors of Venezuelan churches that have a passion for reaching people for Christ I have not seen in some time.
The partnership is with La Convencion Nacional Bautista de Venezuela http://www.cnbv.org.ve/ not Union Baptista Latino Americana.
    There is a difference.

The indirect approach to gathering information–fueled by unreasonable suspicion–often results in conclusion-jumping and apologies owed (but not offered?). Better: go to the source, ask the questions, apply mature reasoning ability, then decide. It’s that easy.
