Thanks for your kind comments. Rex and Dennis do a great job making this possible for each Executive Board meeting. We’ll be streaming the Annual Meeting as well.

We actually set up a live chat the first couple of times we did this. Because each of us also is working on other things during the meeting, we weren’t able to moderate the chat room as well. We had some random people drop into the room and overload it with profanity. After several Texas Baptists indicated they liked no chat room over a profanity-filled chat room, we eliminated the chat option.

Tim, if you read this comment, you may be able to provide some feedback. I know you were in at least one of those early live chats.

When you set up the live steam, why not also open a live chat to respond to what is being done. This could allow executive board members to get feedback on the procedures.

Because I haven’t been able to get any connection for the last couple hours, I will simply post a wrap on the executive board meeting sometime later tonight. Again, I apologize for the issues.
